Cam-tech Security Systems Using InfernoCMS
Cam-tech security systems provide installation, repair and ongoing maintainence to CCTV, ANPR, Access Control and Security Gates for industries and the public sector.
Cam-tech originally had a mostly static site, with a basic news editing feature. Although this enabled daily updating of news, the rest of the required functionality wasn't available.
Inferno CMS is now enabling Cam-tech to provide these services to a wider variety of organisations.
Cam-tech had the primary requirement to use their website as a sales tool. With a secondary requirement to use the site as a showcase for products and services previously supplied and available for ongoing availability.
Since the Primary aim was to aid sales, our main objectives for the site were:
- SEO - Search Engine Optimisation
- Able to group sections into categories and subcategories
- Multiple articles in each subcategory
- Attach files to articles
- Cross link articles. (link funnelling, sales)
- Image galleries
- Ability to embed videos
It became very clear that InfernoCMS was the way forward. Having provided IT support to Cam-tech since early 2006 GiraffeDog.net were the natural choice to provide the web site solution.
GiraffeDog.net's content management system had previously been used by a number of other companies to increase inbound traffic from search engines.
As the main aim of the site was to increase sales leads, time was of the essence.
The design process is shown below:
Once the design was approved we integrated it into InfernoCMS over the course of 4 weeks.
After this we handed the login details over to Cam-tech for them to get familiar with InfernoCMS. They were then able to input and manage their content. Two weeks later the site was ready for launch.
There were a few key words and phrases that Cam-tech wanted to rank highly.
Within 2 weeks these phrases were appearing on page 2 of search engines like Google, 2 weeks later they were on the first page, a further 2 weeks some of them were in the first or second unsponsored positions.
As it was unsponsered results this meant no ongoing costs, as there would have been with PPC, (Pay Per Click). Now, months after launch Cam-tech are getting massively increased visitors and indeed, return visitors to their site.
